It's official...

Some of you already know this so bear with me. :)

I had an MRI on my shoulder last week (don't get me started on THAT) and I got the results yesterday. I have "a very small rotator cuff tear". Straight from the doctor's (kinda cute) mouth.

But we both agree that surgery is NOT an option, so I'm going back to PT as soon as my insurance approves it. I love my insurance company but sometimes...

Anywho...

When I left in August, I thought I'd be seeing the last of them. I already e-mailed the PTs the results and that I'll (probably) be back.

But this time, when I leave (hopefully for good) they're not getting any candy. Maybe.

As my grandpa used to say...

...it's Hell getting old.

Because of my injured arm (and my BIG thighs) it has been getting more and more difficult to transfer lately. So I have to re-think my bathroom.

Transferring from the tub edge to the toilet isn't too difficult (yet). But there's a 2-inch difference from the toilet seat to the w/c...and I'm just not that strong anymore. I am old(er)*, after all.

So, I'm thinking this (plus a 2-inch toilet riser)...

Fancy, hunh? But I deserve it because my guy says I'm a "delicate flower". Well, I say it and he doesn't disagree so it must be true, right?

*I had a blast this summer entering a new decade, but now that I've settled in, it's not all ice cream and birthday cake.

Mmm...cake.

Goodbyes suck...

I've spent every Monday and Friday in Physical Therapy for the last couple months. Spending most of my life on either crutches or in a wheelchair finally caught up with my arms.

But the party's over. And more often than not, it was a party. I really got to know a lot of nice people, most of whom have parents my age. Yikes! It's enough to make a girl feel old.

Okay, so I AM old. Shut up.

Anywho, it was my last day today...and it was sad. I had to say "goodbye" to everyone who had helped me.

I like those people. And it seems that they like me. I even got a couple of hugs before I left.

Okay, so I brought some candy today as a "Thank you!" but, still.

They invited me to "Come by anytime you want". They even mentioned their Gym Membership Program.

I'm sure gonna miss them.

Dear my love

It's me again.

SHE obviously didn't read my 'profile'.

#1) I don't HAVE a profile (I'm assuming on a dating site).
#2) I don't 'swing that way' even if I did have a profile.

There are some pretty weird people out there. Even weirder than me.
